The Indian River flows into the lake on the north end (from Stoney Lake) and exits the lake on the south end

This single basin lake reaches maximum depths of 30' .The perimeter of the lake is 7.7 km (4.8 miles)

White Lake is similar to some other lakes in the Kawartha District in that it is quite fertile (high in nutrient content). There are a number of small islands and rock piles in the north end as well as extensive lily pad beds in the shallows

major fish species include walleye, muskie, small and largemouth bass and perch

White Lake is located in Fisheries Management Zone 17 s.
